The Manchester United Supporters Trust/Independent Manchester United Supporters Association Movement have asked Lincoln City Supporters’ Trust to raise awareness of a petition for 'Partial Fan Ownership of English football clubs' on the government website.
The petition is; That by law all football clubs should have a non controlling ownership share held by it's own supporters. This share should be calculated by experts to ensure that investment levels in English football remains competitive but is enough to give fans greater transparency in how the football club is funded, managed, staffed and encourage a more collaborative approach between the football clubs and the communities they serve.
