James Lammin
Started supporting Lincoln City in 1963 and became a regular at the matches during 1967 and continued to support them through thick and thin ever since. First as a season ticket holder in the ground, then after administration I became an Executive Member. Joined the Gold Members scheme in 2001, in my mind it proved to be the right decision setting up the membership, aimed at dedicated like minded followers who wish to help the Club and also get to understand the truth about the workings of the Club from the playing side and the internal management structure.
Being elected onto a board of directors in any capacity is a serious position to be part of. Apart from the Gold Members’ meetings with the Board it would be good to put questions with prior notice to the Board on behalf of the Gold Members, with a brief newsletter reply emailed to all Gold Members.
Getting the correct process in place to drive the Club forward again is the first priority, being part of that on your behalf would be a challenge to look forward to and putting them into practice with a positive outcome rewarding in itself to us all.
Fran Martin
My name is Fran Martin and I would like to put myself forward for the election of the Gold Member Director on the Lincoln City Club Board.
I have supported Lincoln City FC since I was 8 years old and subsequently worked for them as Football Secretary for over 11 years, prior to being made redundant in December 2011, following my redundancy I then became a Gold Trust member.
In my role at the Club I worked tirelessly through good times and bad, and feel I still have a lot to offer the Football Club. I feel that I have a good understanding through my working experience of how the Football Club operates and also appreciate the key role that Gold Trust members can contribute through finance and the expression of their views.
My secretarial and admin skills would be of benefit to Lincoln City FC in the continued smooth operation of the Gold Trust Members scheme. I also know the majority of Gold Trust Members.
As a good communicator I feel that I would be able to put forward the views of the Gold Trust Membership to the Lincoln City Football Club Board
