A fan who prefers to remain anonymous handed an ‘Alexander’s Army’ T shirt, bought for the Club’s first play-off game at the Millennium Stadium, to David Beck and Roy Noble at our last home game, to be auctioned at the Trust AGM.
It was sold and the winning bid was from Mrs. Doreen Ashton. The money raised has gone to the ‘Trust Us To Cover It’ campaign.
The photograph shows Mrs. Ashton receiving the T-shirt from Rob Bradley, the campaign manager, flanked on the left by Roy Noble and on the right by Geoff Wilkins, both Trust Board members.
Not to give anything away but our donor travels to all our home matches and is seen at a lot of away matches also. Home matches involve a total round trip of about 240 miles.
Is this the farthest a fan travels regularly to home matches? If you know a longer regular journey to Sincil Bank then press the Donate Button, send us a donation to the campaign, and give us the details!
