The Trust Board have been approached by a fan who feels that the atmosphere in the ground has deteriorated since the band stopped playing at the back of the Coop stand. Jules the Drummer creates quite an atmosphere in the Stacey West, but this fan believes that the reintroduction of a drum beat in the Coop stand would enliven what was once the loudest part of the ground.
We are sending out an appeal, therefore, to see if there is an aspiring leader of the Coop who could enthuse this side of the ground as we prepare for the new season under Chris Sutton. Anyone interested would have to supply their own drum but the prospect of a rejuvenated Coop Stand trying to out sing the Stacey West is a tempting prospect ahead of the new season!
